Grand Harbor Convention Center Hotel and Indoor Waterpark

Dubuque, Iowa

This project consists of a seven-story, 192-room hotel featuring a 30,000 square foot indoor waterpark. The hotel / waterpark project is central to the City’s redevelopment of the 99-acre 4th Street Peninsula along Dubuque’s Mississippi River waterfront. This larger, overall development includes a river walk linking the Star Brewery Amphitheater, tour boat landings, boat docks, aquarium, Diamond Jo Casino, a major Education and Conference Center, and other amenities and features of the peninsula. The hotel / waterpark will also have restaurants, lounges, and meeting rooms. A future tower with an additional 150 rooms and expansion of the indoor waterpark with an additional 18,000 square feet has been incorporated into the master plan for the facility.
